Summer Hunger

It’s a collaboration made in heaven! Funded through USDA, Bismarck Public Schools generously makes meals that hundreds of United Way Volunteers serve throughout the summer months at parks in 11 low-income neighborhoods. It’s a safe way to ensure kids don’t go hungry when school is out of session.

Bismarck Public Schools offers a FREE summer lunch program for local kids ages 18 and under Monday-Friday June 3rd through July 16th (excluding July 3rd and 4th). All 11 sites that United Way volunteers are helping serve are listed below. All of these sites serve 11:45 - 12:30 pm.

Thankfully, our United Way supporters are committed to taking care of kids when they aren’t at school - feeding any child in need over the weekends and throughout the summer months.

569 volunteers and 29 businesses served 23,542 meals in 11 parks!
