Food Assistance During the Federal Government Shutdown

On October 30, Governor Kelly Armstrong announced that more than $1.5 million in state funds will be directed to support food assistance programs across North Dakota during the ongoing federal government shutdown.

Of this funding, $915,000 will go to the Great Plains Food Bank, which will allow them to provide critical food assistance to approximately 24,000 households across the state.
