Last year, incoming Vice President Bryan Klipfel, who recently retired from leading WSI and Job Service ND, stressed the importance of updating our strategic plan and volunteered to lead the effort. Jena reached out to United Way Worldwide, who generously offered their assistance. At the same time, they would use our United Way as a model for helping other local United Ways with the strategic planning process. And so began the important journey of many stakeholder meetings to help us move into the future.
Taking a close look at our role in the community, we will embark on setting an updated community agenda, increasing the capacity of our small, but mighty, team to deliver on the vision, and increasing volunteerism. This will help to accomplish our mission of uniting people and resources to activate volunteers, support and deliver programs and services, and fund solutions for a stronger community. We look forward to your input!
